It's Been A While!
Hello, my friends! My how time has flown! It has been 19 months since I last posted to my blog. But, I've been a little busy. I hope to post more often, now that I don't have a million irons in the fire....only a couple of dozen! Slowly but surely, I am reclaiming the Joy that is my life! I am starting a new little project...so I'll be posting on that, and maybe you can join me! Blessings on your week!

Yellow means "Hang On"!
I started learning how to drive long before I ever got behind the wheel. My mom always had us look ahead for problems. To this day, I believe that was the best thing she taught me about driving. My first time actually driving was when I was 9 or 10 years old. My Grandpa Frank had me drive up Campbell Avenue from River Road, all the way to the top, in his brand-new 1968 Gold Cadillac. I was a lucky girl!!
So, when my kids were young, I taught them to drive the same way my Mom taught me.
We started with the traffic lights: Green means GO. Red means STOP. And Yellow means "HANG ON!"
Today, when I was dying my wool with the yellow Cushings Dye, I looked into that pot of dye and hot wool, and remembered those times with my Mom and Grandpa, and then with my own kids.
All of this is to say; when you look at these colors; Yellow means "HANG ON!"
